We stopped by the house tonight and saw some more siding! We love how the white J-Channel accents the browns in the Stone Mountain Clay. We are happy with our selections!
I can't wait to see it all done on the front! |
It looks so big from this angle. |
I think those piles of dirt are topsoil. |
Siding looks great! Love your color selections.
ReplyDeleteWe were hoping to get Stone Mountain Clay but our neighbor already selected that color. It looks awesome on your house!

Hi SuDe, My thoughts are the darker the better for my area. In the Pittsburgh area, the air is pretty bad so over the years the lighter colors will show the grime and what not much faster and easier than a darker color would. I'm personally am not a fan of white on a house because of the dirt factor. However...white does help keep your house cooler in the sunnier regions of the world by reflecting more light than what a colored siding would. So it could save you on energy costs! Go with what makes your heart sing. :)
DeleteThe siding looks great...I absolutely love the brick covering your foundation cement. We begged our SR for a solution to the massive amount of cement we have sticking out of the ground, but they offered none (I guess our area doesn't offer it-bummer. :( Your house looks amazing! The brick/siding color combo is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe benefit of not having Ryan do it is that you can pick WHATEVER you want with no limitations! I'm a do it yourselfer so I would personally make it my summer task to cover the cement in my free time. You could put those kids to work! :)
DeleteLove your colors together!

ReplyDeleteThe house is looking pretty boss there ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell done on the color selection! I absolutely love the brown siding above the dark brown bricks. The dark-colored roof is a nice choice too. I’m remodeling my house now, and I found great ideas here in your blog. Thank you!
