Front view. You can see why I have few photos today.......it was raining. :( I hope this doesn't affect the house too much. |
This is our new home building journal with Ryan Homes......the good, the bad, and the ugly. We are not paid by Ryan Homes or receiving any type of incentive to do this. We just want to document for ourselves and share with others so that they know what to expect. This is our first and hopefully last home together! We hope you enjoy this as much as we've enjoyed and learned from others blogs about the home building process...which isn't as scary as we originally thought. :)

I don't think I would have even noticed if you didn't point it out. I'm not a fan, especially since the shutter are fake.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an oops there.
ReplyDeleteYou're right - the shutters are on backwards! they need to swap them geez!
ReplyDeleteIt's not Ambers house... It's my house! Andrea and Jeff and I noticed the shutters too. It's on my list for Mike. And yes it's an elevation L! Hope to meet you soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea! Nice to meet you. Sorry...I thought it was a girl named Amber....mayber it was Andrea. My memory is horrible these days! I'm so glad you caught it. I told the SR so that maybe she could have it fixed before you saw it but oh well! I hope to meet you too. I'm jealous of your stone. :)
ReplyDeleteFriends of mine showed me your blog since they are building a Venice in Timber Run and are following your building process. As soon as I saw the photo from outside of your front door, I knew I was looking at our new build. What a small world huh? Yep, there were a couple of things that we've caught and put on a list for Mike. I kept telling my boyfriend about the shutters so when I saw that YOU noticed too, I said, "Told you that it wasn't correct!". LOL. Sometimes it takes others to point out the same thing! The SR that is there now isn't really our SR. Rhea moved to Gibsonia just after we signed, so it's hard for her to keep up with us...but she does try! Jeff and I will need to stop by to see the progress on your home next time we are up there. I'm sure you will love your brick once you see it on the house. Thanks for keeping an eye out!
ReplyDeleteHa ha. It's funny how much strentgh the published word has. I'm glad I could help!
ReplyDeleteSTRENGTH. Ugh.
